Our present government is a paragon in anti-people policies; a new plan to make people collaborators in destroying the island we live on is but another striking example.

The PM’s claims in her acceptance speech to stand up for “ordinary families for whom life is harder than many people in politics realise” and “it’s about making sure people personally benefit from economic decisions that are taken and putting them back in control over their lives” is turned into bribing residents affected by fracking to get paid £ 10.000 for their consent to open up the country to poisoning and catastrophic environmental degradation.

Today’s business of politicians is not representing the interests of the people and protecting citizens from dangers but harming them and paying a compensation bribe in return.

To dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics has to be the first task of every intellectual and activist; the government’s policies drive people apart by blatantly enforcing corporate interests; the PM and her cabinet are anti-people.
