Jack Snyder, 73, a resident of Amherst Township, passed away May 2, 2021 at University Hospitals in Cleveland following a sudden illness.
He was born on September 13, 1947 in Lorain, Ohio. He loved the sport and was a fan, participant, or team member for over forty years. Jack was a well-loved man who enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved taking them to movies, Put-in-Bay, and especially Cedar Point. Jack rarely missed a daily trip to McDonald’s to enjoy a Diet Coke and meet with friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.
Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Leslie Snyder (nee: Popa); his children, Jarred (Courtney) Snyder of Parma and Joanna (Mike) Petrillo of Amherst and his grandchildren Michael and Claire Petrillo, and Natalie and August Snyder.
