I’m so glad you recommended ‘The Gods Will Have Blood’ to me, I loved it. I understand why it might be a little hard to get into at first, but my interest in the French Revolution (and revolution in general) helped me along, and it is so true what you say, it is an absolutely fantastic book. I have Lovelock in my ‘to read’ pile at the moment and I must say I can’t wait!
The Catcher in the Rye is one of my all-time favorite books, and I would recommend reading Salinger’s other works as well. Thanks for the list, Vivienne!
