  1. Dear Vivienne,
As a public figure notorious for fighting for justice and a better world, can I ask how you feel about militant ecological warfare like the kind proposed by Deep green resistance?

  2. As usual, brave and provocative on your thinking and approach. It is a pity that you were cut so short and not allowed to promote thought and discussion for change using fashion. As usual the cult of celebrity was allowed to take over! But truth loves to go naked!

  3. I saw this video the day after the event and, of many cringeworthy videos I have seen in the past this is certainly up there. Dare anybody say ANYTHING on American Television without being censored? It’s no wonder their government gets away with murder (quite literally unfortunately). Thank-you, Vivienne, for being one person to not only refuse to address your cause, but for also showing even more people just how messed up so called ‘Freedom of Speech’ really is.

    Best wishes,

    James

  4. Although I can’t help but feel like the entire event laden with ball gowns, tuxedos and Champagne isn’t really representative of any interpretation of ‘Punk’…

  5. How can they have someone like Vivienne THERE at the Met Ball, and only interview them for a few seconds!
It was brief, but knowledgable and informative. Just wish everyone there got to see this interview as well!
    All the best,

    Sam

  6. Dear Vivienne,

Your youthful spirit and activism towards justice and enlightenment in this world is incredibly inspiring and refreshing. It was truly and honor to meet you (twice!) when you were in town for the Gala. I hope you enjoyed the event as well as your stay in New York City. I think you made quite a statement even though the reporter cut you off. I think it’s great. You are definitely pushing some boundaries!
Well, I hope I’m lucky enough to have our paths cross again someday, wether here in NYC or in London. I hope both you and your assistant(s) that monitor(s) this blog have a great day. Thanks again for the inspiration,
    Much love,

    Julie xo

  7. I saw that interview live. The interviewers were so lame, it was hard to understand why they wouldn’t welcome a longer, more interesting segment, talk on a concern other than ourselves, “bigger than me”, there’s a whole world where our lives are being railroaded yet the prederence is to remain ignorant.

  8. Hi
Excuse me writing on public forum about a personal matter, but I just read some comments Viv made about the late Malcolm’s behaviour and wonder if she and her sons know about a condition called Narcissistic Personality Disorder?

Learning about it helped me understand and recover from some very poor behaviour from a “loved” one.

All the best, you hottie, love your work
