#GoingBackwards on Climate Change

On Sunday, a year after this government took power, full of promises to create a green economy to combat climate change, we joined the Campaign against Climate Change to march backwards down Whitehall. We stopped along the way to talk about flooding, renewables, fracking, air pollution, the proposed third runway at Heathrow, fuel poverty and fossil fuel subsidies.

It’s time to hold the government accountable! Speakers came from charities, NGO’s and communities affected by the government’s backtracking.

Vivienne is going on to Manchester and Derby tonight to talk to students and give the same message: the only way out of our terrible situation is a GREEN ECONOMY!
