The assault on Ukraine is horrific, and Putin is a madman. It is hard to watch what is going on, and the US is helping to finance the war by buying oil from Russia. Hey, any deeper thoughts on Putin’s war? Naturally I’m against the war and feel deeply sorry for Ukrainians and also sorry for ordinary people in Russia with all these sanctions but I absolutely support the sanctions and also want peace and freedom for Ukraine. These days I got into conversations with people who stand – let’s say – on the other side and they’re maybe more pro-Russian and understand the Putin’s reasons and they call this Western propaganda and blame NATO for a big part of the war. So I wanted to be fair and spent a huge amount of time reading non-western media as well as some stupid conspiracy theories and now I’m absolutely lost if I’m simply brainwashed by western media but I just cannot see a point why not to blame Putin for this terrible bloodshed on ordinary people and for stealing someone’s freedom. Also I tried to keep my comment short so I hope my words come across right. Peace!
