Wildlife Notes
a diary by my friend, Buddhist Nun, Dechi.
This is my friend Sharon, on holiday in India. She used to be my assistant and modeled in Punkature, then she became a Bhuddist nun. Her monastery is in the Scottish borders
Thanks for posting this Vivienne. It was a beautiful and relaxing read, and such a nice alternative to the crazy lives most of us live! I feed the birds and give them water every day, and it is one of the bright spots in my day.
Best,
Jeffrey

Lovely words.
You have to leave your thoughts and preoccupations well behind to properly tune into the extraordinary world of birds, their soundworld and the physical freedom they have in being able to fly. Their evolutionary path diverges so much from ours.
A training in mindfulness leads to sharp observation!
Thank you Sharon!
