Vivienne,
I agree about not having enough hours in the day to do everything. I do have to work from home four days a week, and then go to work in person only on Tuesdays for now. That is one way to help fight pollution by not driving every day like I used to! I also try to eat healthy, mostly organic, and I read books as much as I can. I am reading The Brothers Karamazov right now based on your recommendation. We read it in high school, but I was too young to appreciate it at that age. I am getting so much more out of it now!
Anyway, I am trying to do my part to save the world. Thanks for your thoughts as always, and I am still sharing your messages with friends!
Best,
Jeffrey

Vivienne,
Thank you for your thoughts and for keeping us posted!
How crazy is this that we all are constantly running out of time, hey? Despite the pandemic and much more time in our hands, we still struggle – struggle to maybe find our own priorities or at least in my case. I feel like the world made our lives so comfortable and we could have everything and become anyone we would like to so at the end of the day, it can be tricky to even know what it is that we actually want and even who we are.
By the end of the last year, I lost my job due to the pandemic and I would love to navigate my life in a better way and find something meaningful but it feels insane to keep this hope in a world where people are dying and losing jobs and fighting to pay bills. I guess I was born to be hopeful so instead of job search, I’m reading books, learning how to play chess or walking around London in search for pieces of Nature. In my case, I’m not sure if I need more time, probably I need more clarity. Thank you for bringing sense and joy in my life!

Dear Vivienne, people in Myanmar are attempting to reverse the military coup by marching peacefully and by hitting pots and pans at 8:00pm every night. Traditionally this was done in order to drive away ghosts and evil. It would be great if you could take part in supporting their struggle for democracy and join the #PotsandpansForMyanmar campaign.
Thank you!

Hi Vivienne
I just shared a quote of yours from January 2012 (Get a Life) ‘coming soon, apocalypse 2020…scientists’ How right you were.
I agree, Elon Musk is dangerous anyone with that much money is scary really. Education is the answer. I’m an art teacher, and I started a movement called the Rebel Botanists. It’s about graffitti-ing urban streets with wildflower names. It’s working well – when people notice, they start respecting. Education over media brainwashing, that’s where we need to be. Love your passion and creativity. Keep up the good work. ??????
