Rest well dear Vivienne. Still part of the cosmos in a new form now. Our job to keep on the good fight in this small corner now. Your loved ones are in our thoughts.
I am absolutely crushed by this news, but I know that Vivienne’s legacy will carry on. My life would not be the same without Vivienne’s influence. I have worn her clothes for 30 years and followed her ideas my entire adult life. My condolences to Andreas, Gordon, Ben, Joe, and the rest of the family. We will all continue the fight to make the world a better place in Vivienne’s name!

Es war im August 2017,als du mit deinem Mann einen Ausflug ins Salzkammergut gemacht hast, um Holzschuhe für die Modenschau in Paris zu
kaufen. Es war ein gemütlicher fröhlicher Nachmittag, very lovely waren deine Worte zum Spalierbaum der dich faszinierte. Unforgotten dear Vivienne..
mein studium habe ich mit mode-design verdient, klamotten entworfen, andere haben’s zugeschnitten u. die kleidung verkauft dame vivienñe westwood war dabei immer inspiration u. vorbild, denn der Kampf für eine gerechtere gesellsch. u. gegen die selbstverursachte zerstörung unseres planeten hat sie auch inhaltlich mit ihrem design verwebt. Ich bin traurig, daß vivienñe westwood nicht mehr lebt und etliche leben künftig nicht mehr aktuell bereichern kann.

I was on the island of Sylt in Germany when the bad news came over me. I felt completely shocked, couldn‘t believe it, also because an island isolates, things feel like they’re kind of surreal.
I‘ve worn the incredible clothes made by Vivienne Westwood for 30 years now, although I‘ve never met her personally I always felt and still feel a strong attachment with her.
Now, at home, I miss her tremendously and I‘d like to thank for all the inspiration, fantastic shows, the emotional intelligence, power and commitment to the world of Dame Vivienne Westwood. I send my heartfelt condolences to Andreas and her entire family. RIP🌟⭐️
I‘ll dearly miss you, Dame Vivienne Westwood! You‘ve always inspired me in every moment of my life, I‘ll bow my head in gratitude to you. 💞
